Gat Gil has extensive experience in engineering and technology, particularly in the semiconductor and design sectors. Beginning a career as a VLSI Engineer at Compass Networks from 2014 to 2016, Gat then advanced to roles including ASIC Design Engineer at Valens from 2016 to 2019, where significant contributions were made to automotive ASIC development and full-chip integration. Following this, Gat served as SoC CDC/RDC Methodology and Execution leader at Intel Corporation until September 2025, focusing on SoC front-end integration. Currently, Gat is a CPU Design Integration Engineer at Google. Parallel to a robust engineering career, Gat has been a professional violinist since 2000, performing in competitions and with various orchestras and ensembles internationally. Gat holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Tel Aviv University and has previous military experience as a Captain in the Israel Defense Forces, specializing in network infrastructure management.
