Geli Fei has an extensive background in computer science, earning a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) from the University of Illinois at Chicago, completed in 2016. Professional experience includes roles at Google as a Staff Software Engineer since October 2022, and previously as a Software Engineering Intern and Senior Software Engineer at the same company. Geli also served as an IBM Watson Intern at IBM Research - Almaden in 2014 and held a Teaching and Research Assistant position at the University of Illinois at Chicago from 2011 to 2017.
