Gene Karshenboym is an energetic and influential technical leader with extensive experience in automotive software and firmware development. Currently, they serve on the Board of Advisors for WestRing and as an Advisor for AiDEN Auto and CellChorus. In the past, Gene was the CEO of Phiar, which was sold to Google in September 2022, and has held various roles at Google, including Head of Forward Deployed Engineering in Geo Auto, where they built and lead a global team focused on integrating Google geospatial products into vehicles. Gene also has a background in managing Android Auto and Android Automotive Hardware Platforms at Google from 2015 to 2018 and has participated in the Assurance & Advisory Management Program at The Home Depot from 2011 to 2013. They are currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree at the Georgia Institute of Technology.
