Ger Yang

Ger Yang is currently a Senior Software Engineer at Google, where they have been employed since 2020 after serving as a Software Engineer from 2018 to 2020. Ger earned a PhD in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin in August 2018, where they were a member of the Wireless Networking & Communications Group and conducted research in machine learning, algorithmic game theory, network optimization algorithms, and risk-aversion algorithms. Ger also holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical, Electronics, and Communications Engineering from National Taiwan University, completed in 2013. Prior to their roles at Google, Ger gained valuable experience as a research assistant at the University of Texas and held internships at Wionics Technologies and IBM Taiwan Systems and Technology Laboratory.
