Gillian Thompson

Gillian Thompson has extensive experience in recruitment and talent management, primarily at Google from October 2015 to December 2018. In this role, Gillian served as the Staffing Services Lead, overseeing a team of Recruitment Coordinators across multiple cities including London, Paris, and Tel Aviv. Additional positions at Google included EMEA Student Development Lead, Recruitment Manager for Large Customer Sales in EMEA, Recruitment Specialist, and Recruitment Manager for Software Engineers, where Gillian led recruitment efforts for software engineers across the UK, Ireland, and various EMEA locations. Prior to Google, Gillian worked at Robert Walters/Resource Solutions Ltd as a Candidate Manager and HR Onboarding Coordinator for Deutsche Bank. Gillian holds a BA (Hons) in Drama, Music, and Ethnomusicology from Queen's University Belfast, obtained from 2004 to 2007.
