Goetz Graefe

Goetz Graefe is currently a Principal Scientist at Google, where they focus on query processing and system implementation techniques. Previously, they served as an HP Fellow at HP Labs, conducting research on query processing and concurrency control, and held the position of Software Architect at Microsoft, where they developed a new query optimizer and execution engine for SQL Server. Goetz holds both a Master's and a PhD in Computer Science from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and has a well-established record of publications in renowned computing journals and conferences.
