Govind Saraswat

Govind Saraswat is a highly experienced engineer specializing in data center systems and energy solutions, currently serving as a Data Center Systems Engineer at Google since August 2025. Prior to this role, Govind held positions at Enphase Energy as a Principal and Senior Staff Systems Engineer, focusing on renewable energy solutions, and was a Senior Researcher at the National Laboratory of the Rockies, where research involved power system modeling and machine learning. Additional experience includes a postdoctoral role at the University of Minnesota, where Govind developed distributed algorithms for smart microgrids, and engineering positions at Xilinx and Oracle, concentrating on software and hardware reliability analysis for microprocessors. Govind holds a Ph.D. in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Minnesota and a Bachelor of Technology in Electrical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi.
