Grace Kao

Grace Kao is an experienced legal professional specializing in regulatory affairs and technology law. At Google since January 2023, Grace serves as Content Advisory Senior Counsel, focusing on interpreting new regulations in the Content Law space, including topics such as AI and online safety. Prior to this role, Grace worked as Senior Product Counsel at Google, advising on legal risks for e-commerce, and as Commercial Corporate Counsel, where negotiations for significant agreements were led. Grace's earlier career includes roles at Riverbed Technology as Corporate Counsel, Kirkland and Ellis as a Technology Transactions Attorney, Oracle Corporation as a Legal Intern, and Morrison & Foerster as an Attorney. Grace holds a Juris Doctor from the University of Pennsylvania Law School and a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Pennsylvania in Biological Basis of Behavior and Communications.
