Hamed Fatemi has extensive experience in the field of processor architecture and power management. Beginning as a researcher at Philips Research from 2003 to 2004, Hamed transitioned to a PhD student at Eindhoven University of Technology, where research focused on processor architecture design for smart cameras and culminated in a PhD in Computer Architecture in 2006. A post-doctoral position at Eindhoven University followed, proposing new SIMD architecture. Hamed's industry experience includes significant roles at NXP Semiconductors from 2018 to 2020, first as the Low Power Innovation Lead/Architect, and later as Principal Scientist, leading low power multi-core projects. Currently, Hamed operates as a Power Management Architect at Google since July 2020. Academic qualifications include a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from K. N. Toosi University of Technology and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Tehran.
