Hamza Ahmed

Hamza Ahmed is an experienced Data Center Engineer currently at Google, having transitioned from an Operations Engineer role at Warner Bros. Discovery, where critical communications were provided for major incidents during live events such as the Paris Olympics 2024. Prior to that, Hamza worked at Twitch as a Global Service Operations Center Engineer, maintaining 50,000 servers and 4,000 networking devices while coordinating incident response and improving internal tooling processes. Hamza began the career at Google as an Infrastructure Technician, supporting a multi-platform workstation fleet and leading SQL development projects. Previous experience includes a customer service role as a waiter at Thai Style Restaurant. Educational background includes A-levels in Computer Science, Electronics, and Photography, as well as GCSEs in relevant subjects.
