Hann Wang

Hann Wang has extensive experience in applied science, software engineering, and data analytics, currently serving as a Staff Software Engineer in the Office of the CTO at Google since January 2025, where key initiatives in Generative AI are being driven. Previously, Hann held positions as an Applied Scientist at Amazon AGI from September 2019 to November 2024, and Principal Deep Learning Engineer at Roche from July 2017 to August 2019. Additional experience includes roles as a Senior Data Scientist at Genomic Health and a Research Scientist at UCLA Jonsson Comprehensive Cancer Center. Hann co-founded Geneio Inc and served as Lead Data Scientist from November 2014 to February 2016. Academic credentials include a BSE in Mechanical Engineering from National Taiwan University, an MSE in Mechanical Engineering from The Johns Hopkins University, and a PhD in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering from the University of California, Los Angeles.
