Hannah Highfill

UX Researcher at Google

Hannah Highfill is a seasoned UX Researcher with extensive experience, currently employed at Google since March 2017. Previously, Hannah served as Research Lead at OpenField Technology from March 2012 to July 2013 and interned at the U.S. Department of State in June 2007. Hannah also worked as a Research Assistant at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, contributing to a project on Burmese migrant workers in Thailand. Academic credentials include a Master's degree in Islamic Studies from Stanford University (2014-2016), a MA in Sociology with a focus on Religion and Society from École Pratique des Hautes Études (2011-2013), and a BA in International and Area Studies from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (2005-2009). Additional training includes participation in a Turkish Language and Culture Summer Program at Boğaziçi University and completing a coding bootcamp at Kickstart Coding in 2019, focusing on Python, Django, Postgres, and React.
