Heather Adkins

Heather Adkins is a Deputy Chair at the Cyber Safety Review Board, where they review significant cyber incidents and advise on improvements for national security. They serve as the VP of Security Engineering at Google and are actively involved as a Steering Committee Member for the Ransomware Taskforce at the Institute for Security and Technology. Additionally, Heather is a Strategic Advisor at Silverado Policy Accelerator and a member of the Review Board for BlackHat. They contributed to the book "Building Secure and Reliable Systems" in 2020. Previously, Heather held positions in information security and large-scale systems administration at Nocpulse and Excite@Home, respectively.
