Helen Zhao

Helen Zhao is an experienced engineering professional with a strong background in regulatory compliance and wireless certification. Helen has held significant positions at various companies, including HP Palm as a Senior Regulatory Compliance Engineer, where responsibilities included securing regulatory approvals for new products like the Palm Pre. At Nest (Alphabet), Helen successfully managed the wireless certification program for key products such as Nest Cam and Nest Learning Thermostat. Previous roles include Regulatory Compliance Manager at Proxim Wireless and Sr. Compliance Engineer at Amazon Lab126, showcasing a diverse range of expertise in compliance strategies and certification processes. Currently, Helen serves as the Head of RF Compliance Engineering at Google, overseeing complex certification programs for innovative products.
