Hieu DeShields

Hieu DeShields is a People Consultant at Google, where they contribute to the Cloud Go-To-Market team. Previously, Hieu served as a Principal HR Business Partner at Bank of the West, aligning HR strategies with business objectives and facilitating talent management initiatives. Hieu also held various roles at Safeway, including Senior Manager of Corporate HR and Corporate Talent Acquisition Manager, where they led high-performing teams and designed recruitment strategies. Hieu began their career as an HR Representative at Quest Diagnostics and has developed a strong foundation in coaching, talent development, and employee engagement throughout their career. They are currently pursuing a BA in Sociology at the University of California, Davis, and an MA in Psychology at the University of San Francisco.
