Howard Chen

Howard Chen has a robust background in patent and intellectual property litigation, beginning as an Associate at Quinn Emanuel from 2009 to February 2015, where advocacy involved various technologies including online advertising and mobile devices. From February 2015 to April 2017, Howard Chen progressed at Google, initially as Associate Corporate Counsel and then as Senior Counsel in Patent Litigation, managing patent litigation across Google's platforms and providing guidance on litigation risks to business, engineering, and commercial teams. Howard Chen holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering and a Bachelor of Arts in Plan II Honors from The University of Texas at Austin, as well as a Juris Doctor degree from Northwestern University School of Law.
