Hubert Eichner

Hubert Eichner is a goal-driven software engineer with a diverse background in computer science and neurobiology. Hubert completed a PhD at Ludwig-Maximilians Universität München, where research focused on mathematical models of motion vision circuits. Subsequently, Hubert worked as a Senior Scientist at Microsoft, contributing to the development of the keyword spotter for Cortana, before becoming a Senior Staff Software Engineer and Tech Lead Manager at Google, where they have played a pivotal role in advancing Federated Learning. Prior to these roles, Hubert obtained a Diplom-Informatiker from Technische Universität München, graduating summa cum laude.
