Hugues Evrard is a software engineer currently employed at Google in London, following the acquisition of the GraphicsFuzz startup, which was developed during a postdoctoral position in the Multicore Programming Group at Imperial College London from October 2016 to August 2018. Prior experience includes a role as a research and development intern at Allegro DVT, where Hugues contributed to the double-pass compression algorithm for video encoding in H.264 format. Hugues also completed a PhD within the CONVECS team at Inria Grenoble, France, from March 2012 to July 2015 and participated in an exchange program in computer science at Kyoto University in 2010-2011. Hugues holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science, with honors, from the Ecole Nationale Supérieure d'Informatique et de Mathématiques Appliquées de Grenoble, obtained in 2012.
