Iain Cooke

Iain Cooke is an accomplished technology leader with extensive experience in various roles across multiple organizations. As Chief Technology Officer at IMD from 2008 to January 2015, Iain was responsible for IT innovations, notably pioneering the world's first paper-free course on iPads. Iain also served as CTO of the Geospatial Solutions Division at Tadpole Technology plc from 1999 to 2007, where significant product development led to an eightfold revenue increase. Later roles included Staff Software Engineer and Senior Site Reliability Engineer at Google, where Iain focused on enhancing internal monitoring systems and won multiple internal awards. Iain co-founded Conic Systems and served as Technical Director, establishing a mobile geospatial product, and previously worked as a System Architect and Consultant. Iain holds an MSc and PhD in Industrial Robotics and Industrial Control Software, respectively, from Cranfield University, and a BA in Engineering Science from the University of Oxford.
