Ian Burton has extensive experience in legal counsel, particularly in the areas of litigation and intellectual property. Starting at Bristows Law Firm from 1996 to 2008 as a Senior Associate in the IP Litigation Department, Ian then progressed to Nokia where a role as Senior Legal Counsel in the Litigation, Legal & IP Department was held from 2008 to 2011. Subsequently, Ian joined Google in April 2017, taking on various positions including Senior Legal Counsel for International Litigation, EU Affairs Legal Lead, and Head of the International Litigation Team, overseeing compliance operations and advising on EU legislative initiatives.
