Ippei Matsumoto

Ippei Matsumoto is an experienced industrial designer currently working at Google as part of the Devices and Services team since August 2022. Prior to this role, Matsumoto served as Principal Industrial Designer at Amazon Lab126 from February 2017 to July 2022 and was a founding member and Principal Designer at INDUSTRIAL FACILITY from 2002 until December 2016. Matsumoto began their career at IDEO Japan as a Designer from April 1997 to September 2000. Academic qualifications include a Master of Arts in Design Products from the Royal College of Art (2000-2002) and a Bachelor of Arts in Product Design from Tama Art University (1991-1997).
