Ishan Chatterjee

Ishan Chatterjee is an accomplished electrical engineer and researcher with extensive experience in augmented and mixed reality technologies. Beginning with an internship at Microsoft in 2015, Ishan contributed to the HoloLens hardware team, focusing on circuit design and creating "Hold," a safety app for wearables. Progressing to roles as an electrical engineer and senior hardware architect at Microsoft, Ishan played key roles in the development of HoloLens 2 and various incubation projects. Ishan currently serves as a senior hardware architect for AR Tech Incubation at Google. Additionally, Ishan has conducted influential research at institutions such as the Damage Associated Molecular Pattern Laboratory and Harvard Biodesign Lab, with a PhD candidacy at the University of Washington in Computer Science. Ishan holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Harvard University, graduating summa cum laude.
