Jacob Davis is a Staff Software Engineer at Google, managing a team focused on document understanding for search since 2021. Having previously served as a Senior Software Engineer and a Software Engineer at Google, they contributed to the conversion of the search stack to TensorFlow and worked on entity identification. Jacob started their journey in the tech field as a Software Engineering Intern with the Google Brain team in 2015.
