Jacobi Grillo

Jacobi Grillo is a seasoned product design engineer specializing in augmented reality devices, currently serving as a Staff Product Design Engineer at Google since December 2022, after previously holding the title of Senior Product Design Engineer in the same division. Prior to Google, Jacobi worked at Nest from August 2014 to December 2022 as a Senior Product Design Engineer, contributing to notable products such as Nest Guard and Nest Hello, the latter being featured in Time Magazine's 25 Best Inventions of 2017. Earlier roles include Product Design Lead for Up Move at Jawbone, recognized with a 2015 Red Dot Award for Product Design, and Product Design Engineer at Amazon Lab126, where significant contributions were made to the Amazon Echo, also highlighted in Time Magazine's 25 Best Inventions of 2016. The career began with an internship as a Supply Base Engineer at Apple in 2011. Jacobi holds a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Stanford University, earned in 2012 and 2009, respectively.
