Jairo Martinez

Jairo Martinez is an experienced audio engineer and manager with over a decade of expertise in various leadership roles. Since August 2010, Jairo has been the Manager and Head of Audio Engineering at SoundProof Studios, contributing as a co-founder and overseeing all audio recording operations, as well as creating administrative systems and training new engineers. Previously, Jairo served as the Director of School Partnerships at the NYC Department of Youth & Community Development from June 2017 to June 2020, where responsibilities included leading recruitment, managing a large team, and overseeing multiple school sites. Jairo held the position of Community School Director at Roads to Success in mid-2024 and transitioned to a Business Partner role focusing on Risk, Compliance & Integrity at Google in January 2025. Before these positions, Jairo was the Director of Operations in the nonprofit sector, where efforts emphasized logistical improvements and technological advancements in the workplace. Educationally, Jairo holds a Bachelor's degree in Music Teacher Education from The Juilliard School, earned between 2010 and 2013.
