James Egan is an experienced Software Engineering Manager currently at Google, where they manage a team of 15 engineers focused on enhancing developer productivity and release velocity for Google Nest Services. Previously, James worked at Microsoft, advancing from Software Design Engineer/Test II to Senior Technical Lead, where they led teams and delivered critical features for Hotmail and Outlook.com. Earlier in their career, James interned as a Software Engineer at Thales-Raytheon Systems, developing UI for a NATO project. They hold a B.S. in Information and Computer Science from UC Irvine.
