James O'Brien

James O'Brien is a seasoned professional in AI UX Engineering at Google, where they lead efforts in designing tools for content moderation utilizing large language models. With prior experience as a Senior Design Technologist at Amazon, James contributed to the development of the Prime Video application across multiple devices. They also worked as a UX Architect at Evi Technologies, playing a pivotal role in creating user experiences that laid the groundwork for Amazon's Alexa products. James began their career at Microsoft Research, creating prototypes focused on collaborative applications, and has held multiple roles in prominent tech companies, showcasing a strong background in both engineering and user experience design. They are currently pursuing a BSc in Computer Science at the University of Liverpool.
