James P.

James P. has extensive experience in technology and finance, beginning with a role in Emerging Markets Research at J.P. Morgan from June 1998 to June 2003, where real-time pricing systems for financial products were developed in C++. Afterward, James served as an Analyst at DrKW from September 2004 to January 2007, creating a PHP/MySQL framework for emerging market debt and managing a team in Manila focused on economic data. In subsequent positions, James held leadership roles as CTO at Ultro Digital and 2Ring Markets, overseeing development and operations in a development agency and a FinTech startup, respectively. Between January 2013 and November 2016, James was CTO at AltAssets, enhancing functionality for connecting investors globally. Most recently, James worked as a Site Reliability Engineering Manager at Google from February 2021 and transitioned to the same role in May 2024, streamlining infrastructure tools for developers and SRE teams to improve efficiency.
