James Pan

James Pan is an experienced engineering leader with a strong background in application management and cloud services. Starting a career at IBM, James held significant roles, including Technical and Team Leader for the Application Portfolio Management Research Project and R&D Team Leader for WebSphere Studio Asset Analyzer. At Hewlett Packard Enterprise, James served as Senior Engineering Manager for HP Service Test and later as Director of R&D for Fortify/WebInspect Products, where innovation led to a patented hybrid penetration testing method. Subsequently, at Amazon Web Services, James excelled as Head of Engineering for Elastic Load Balancing and AWS RoboMaker. Currently, James holds the position of Director of Engineering for Google Kubernetes Engine, focusing on AI/ML solutions. James Pan earned a Master’s degree in Computer Science from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
