Jamie S. is a data scientist with a passion for leading teams to extract insights that enable organizations to unlock growth opportunities through innovation and storytelling. Currently serving as the Head of People Analytics at Google, Jamie specializes in applying analytical techniques such as machine learning and statistical analyses within people-focused organizations. Previously, Jamie held leadership roles at Google including People Analytics Lead and People Analytics Manager, where they contributed significantly to research on diversity, inclusion, and organizational health. Jamie also has experience as a Senior Design Project member at Agility Defense Logistics and worked as an IT Strategy Consultant at Accenture. Jamie is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Industrial and Systems Engineering at Virginia Tech and a Master’s degree in Data Science at the University of California, Berkeley.
