Jan Schwartz

Jan Schwartz serves as the Global Practice Lead for Finance and People Operations in Executive Recruiting at Google since February 2020, focusing on executive talent acquisition and advisory. Prior to this role, Jan held the position of Director of Executive Recruiting at Newell Brands, overseeing all executive recruiting activities from strategy development to candidate evaluation. Concurrently, Jan was the Director of Lateral Recruiting for Corporate Functions at BlackRock, where the global recruiting strategy for various corporate operations was managed. Earlier experience includes a role as Director and Executive Recruiter at CTPartners, with a specialization in senior financial leadership searches, and earlier positions in human resources and recruitment at Bingham McCutchen and Career Blazers. Jan began a career in recruitment with an internship at Walt Disney World while pursuing a BA in Psychology at Hunter College from 1993 to 1997.
