Jan-Thorsten Peter

Jan-Thorsten Peter is a Senior Software Engineer at Google, a position they have held since 2023. They previously gained experience as an intern in machine translation at Google in 2014 and worked as a Machine Learning Scientist at AppTek from 2017 to 2023. Jan-Thorsten also served as a Consultant (Data Mining Engineer) at Zalando SE from 2009 to 2011 and was a researcher at RWTH Aachen University from 2012 to 2018. They earned their Doctor of Philosophy in Computer Science from RWTH Aachen University in 2020, alongside a Master’s degree from both RWTH Aachen University and the University of Skövde.
