Jasmine Owens

Jasmine Owens holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science with a minor in African Studies from UC San Diego and a Doctor of Law (JD) from Northwestern University School of Law. Jasmine's professional experience includes serving as a Research Assistant for Professor Steven Calabresi at Northwestern University School of Law, an Extern for the Honorable Ruben Castillo at the United States District Court, and a Litigation Associate at Wilson Sonsini Goodrich and Rosati. As a Managing Associate at Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe LLP, Jasmine focused on white-collar crime and regulatory violations, advising companies on corporate governance and defending them in SEC investigations. Additionally, Jasmine worked as Associate Product Counsel at Google. Prior to law, Jasmine contributed as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Mongolia, where involvement included teaching English and managing a community development project.
