Jason Tan is a seasoned mechanical engineer with extensive experience in the design and management of building systems, particularly within mission-critical data centre projects. Currently serving as a Mechanical Thermal Engineer at Google since December 2025, Jason previously held the position of Principal Mechanical Engineer at Black & White Engineering from September 2021 to January 2025, where responsibilities included leading multidisciplinary teams in integrated MEP and ACS designs. Earlier roles include mechanical engineering positions at firms such as WSP | Parsons Brinckerhoff, Aurecon, and Perunding Eagles Engineers Sdn Bhd, where Jason contributed to specialized ACMV system designs and mechanical services for various building projects. Jason holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) in Mechanical Engineering from Multimedia University, completed in 2011.
