Jay Hasbrouck

Jay Hasbrouck is a Senior Staff Researcher at Google, where they focus on identifying emerging needs and opportunity areas for long-term value in web publishing. They previously held positions at Meta and founded multiple organizations, including Filament Insight & Innovation and Cyberscan Online Clipping Service. With a Ph.D. in Social Anthropology from the University of Southern California, Jay's extensive background includes leading research at the university's Center for Sustainable Cities and teaching as an adjunct professor. They are also the author of "Ethnographic Thinking: From Method to Mindset" and advocate for collaboration and innovation across disciplines.
