Jd Smith

Jd Smith possesses extensive experience in the fields of nuclear engineering and facility management, starting with service in the US Navy from December 2014 to December 2023 as a Nuclear Electrician's Mate and Facilities Manager, where responsibilities included the maintenance of a 200,000 square foot waterfront training facility and oversight of major electrical operations. Additionally, Jd served as an Engineering Watch Supervisor and NPTU Work Controls Officer, managing preventive maintenance and supervising hazardous energy controls. Currently, Jd is an Operations Specialist at Google since September 2024, contributing to the maintenance and operation of data center infrastructure, and previously held the position of Data Center Facilities Technician. Educational qualifications include a degree in Nuclear Engineering from the Nuclear Power School, a Bachelor of Science in Nuclear Engineering Technology from Thomas Edison State University, and ongoing studies towards a Master of Business Administration at Shenandoah University.
