Jean-Jacques Sahel is the Global Telecom and Scams Policy Lead, as well as the Asia-Pacific Information and Content Policy Lead at Google, where they have been shaping policy since 2019. They previously served as Managing Director for the European Region at ICANN from 2017 to 2019 and held various leadership roles at organizations such as Microsoft and the OECD. Their extensive experience also includes positions with the UK Government's Department of Trade & Industry and the European Digital Media Association. Additionally, Jean-Jacques is on the Board of Directors for the International Institute of Communications and chairs the Content Working Group for the Asia Internet Coalition.
