Jeff Barcalow has over two decades of experience in software engineering and technical roles, starting with an engineering internship at Motorola in 1994. After completing a Master's degree at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, Jeff served as a Graduate Research Assistant and later worked as a Senior Technical Specialist at Thomson Reuters until 2008. From 2008 to 2012, Jeff held the position of Senior Software Architect at MetaFluent, LLC, before joining Google in 2012, where Jeff advanced to Senior Software Engineer and then Staff Software Engineer until 2023. Jeff holds both a Bachelor's and a Master's degree from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
