Jeffrey Pennington

Jeffrey Pennington is currently a research scientist at Google in New York, focusing on large-scale machine learning, natural language processing, and artificial intelligence. Prior to joining Google in 2014, Jeffrey was a postdoctoral research fellow at Stanford University, where they worked within the Stanford Artificial Intelligence Laboratory and the Natural Language Processing Group on deep learning algorithms. Jeffrey holds a Ph.D. in theoretical particle physics from Stanford University, where their graduate research emphasized developing methods for higher-order calculations, and a B.S. in Physics and Mathematics from the University of Southern California.
