Jiantao Wu

Jiantao Wu is a highly experienced software engineering and machine learning professional, currently serving as a Senior Software Engineering Manager at Google since August 2025. Prior roles include Senior Data Science Manager at Airbnb, where Jiantao guided the AI/ML strategy for the Trust & Safety organization, and Director of Machine Learning at Hyperscience, leading teams in AI-driven document understanding. At Meta, significant contributions were made as a Software Engineering Manager, establishing the Content Integrity division for Instagram and enhancing user safety through AI initiatives, and as a Research Scientist, playing a key role in boosting user engagement via ML algorithms. Jiantao's career began as a Machine Learning Engineer at Yelp, where innovative work on Ads CTR prediction was executed.
