Jibran Ilyas

Jibran Ilyas is a Director at Google (Mandiant), where they lead initiatives in incident response and contribute to the development of innovative methodologies in cybersecurity. With over 15 years of experience in information security, Jibran has specialized in incident response, digital forensics, and threat intelligence, having investigated major data breaches across various sectors. They have been recognized as one of Crain's 40 under 40 for their contributions to the field and currently serve as an adjunct professor at Northwestern University, where they developed the curriculum for the Digital Forensics and Incident Response course. Jibran holds a Bachelor's degree in Network Security from DePaul University and a Master's degree in Information Technology Management from Northwestern University.
