Jimmy Tran

Jimmy Tran is an experienced professional with a strong background in environmental science, policy, and management. With a Ph.D. in Climate Science, Policy, and Management from the University of California, Berkeley, Tran has held several significant positions, including Operations Manager at Google since April 2016 and Program Manager II at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory from April 2015 to April 2016. Tran also served as a Research Fellow at the US Environmental Protection Agency in 2010, Director of Project Development at Impact Carbon from 2010 to 2014, a Short Term Consultant focused on air pollution research at The World Bank in 2009, and a Graduate Teaching Assistant at UC Berkeley in 2009. Tran's educational background includes a Bachelor's Degree with a triple major in Biology (Pre-Med), Finance, and Environmental Resource Management from Penn State University, as well as a degree in Chinese Language and Literature from Cornell University.
