Jing Chen is an accomplished software engineering manager with extensive experience in infrastructure and engineering management. At Meta from 2020 to 2022, Jing served as a Software Engineering Manager, focusing on infrastructure projects. Currently, Jing holds a similar position at Google since February 2022. Prior to these roles, Jing was with Symantec from 2008 to 2014, where Jing built a NAS appliance solution based on a Clustered File System and led engineering initiatives in backup appliances. Additionally, from 2016 to 2019 at Amazon Web Services, Jing held the position of Sr. Manager for EC2 Instance Storage, where Jing managed a team that developed high-performance storage instances leveraging AWS Nitro technology. Jing holds a BS in Applied Mathematics and a BS in Precision Instruments from Tsinghua University, as well as an MS in Computer Science from The Johns Hopkins University.
