Jiro Root is a seasoned professional in product design and user experience with a career spanning from 2013 to the present. Notable roles include Product Design Lead at Flexport and Senior Product Designer at Zume Inc. prior to becoming a Senior UX Designer at Google in October 2020. Jiro also contributed as an Instructor in UX at General Assembly and shaped educational experiences at Minerva Project. With a strong foundation in design, Jiro holds a Master's degree in Human Computer Interaction from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, along with independent research in Neuroscience from the University of Oregon and a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and Pre-Med from Grinnell College.
