Jishnu Dey

Jishnu Dey is a highly skilled professional with experience in software engineering and research in the fields of nanoscience, photoplethysmography, and machine learning. Jishnu began a research internship at the Centre for Nanoscience and Engineering at IISc Bangalore, followed by a summer internship at Samsung R&D Institute India, where Jishnu worked on enhancing wrist-based photoplethysmography signals. As a Software Engineer (Research) at Samsung, Jishnu developed models for blood pressure prediction and launched the InstaBP app, gaining over 10,000 downloads by August 2019. Currently, Jishnu works at Google, where contributions include the development of machine learning models for improving image quality in Google Maps. Jishnu holds a Bachelor of Technology in Electronics and Electrical Communication Engineering from IIT Kharagpur and a Master of Science in Computer Science from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, achieving top academic performance in both programs.
