Joanna Witkin

Joanna Witkin, Ph.D., is an experienced researcher with a robust background in user experience and cognitive neuroscience. With a Bachelor of Science in Biopsychology from Tufts University and a Master of Science in Physiology and Biophysics from Stony Brook University, Joanna obtained a Doctor of Philosophy in Psychology with a focus on Cognitive Neuroscience from the University of Miami. Professional experiences include roles at Google as a User Experience Researcher, where Joanna designs and implements comprehensive research plans, and at Motorola Solutions, where qualitative data was collected to enhance public safety user workflows. Previous research positions at Brigham and Women's Hospital and the University of Miami involved advanced statistical techniques to study mindfulness meditation effects on cognition. Joanna also served as a lecturer, teaching statistics to undergraduate psychology students at the University of Miami.
