Joanne Morris

Joanne Morris possesses extensive experience in network engineering and project management, beginning as a Power Systems Design Engineer at NASA Goddard Space Flight Center from 1990 to 1994. Following this, Joanne worked as a QA Engineer for Inspec Japan from 1994 to 1997, and then as a Network Engineer at FLAG Telecom from 1997 to 2000. Joanne transitioned to a Project Manager role at SubCom for sub-sea fiber systems between July 2001 and February 2002, before serving as Sr. Manager of Network Engineering at Lightower Fiber Networks from 2002 to 2014. Since January 2014, Joanne has been a Strategic Negotiator for Global Network Infrastructure at Google, focusing on global network acquisition in the Americas. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical Engineering from Manhattan College and an Executive MBA from Quantic School of Business and Technology, anticipated in 2026.
