João Caldeira

João Caldeira is an accomplished professional with a solid academic background in physics, holding a PhD from the University of Chicago and a master's degree from Imperial College London. João has extensive experience in research and engineering, including roles as a Teaching Assistant at Instituto Superior Técnico and a Postdoctoral Research Associate at Fermilab, where contributions included enhancing simulations for convolutional neural networks and developing algorithms for quantum computing in scientific tasks. Additionally, João served as a Data Science for Social Good Fellow at the University of Chicago, focusing on traffic safety in Jakarta. Recently, João held the position of Senior Site Reliability Engineer at Google in Melbourne, Australia, after progressing through various Site Reliability Engineer roles.
