Joe Fairchild

Joe Fairchild currently serves as the Global Lead for Technical Operations in Physical Security, Environmental Health & Safety, Operational Technology Security, and Risk at Google since October 2020. Prior to Google, Fairchild held multiple positions at Microsoft from July 2011 to September 2020, including Lead of Technology for the Real Estate and Security Center of Innovation, Group Technology Manager, and Security Technology Program Manager, where significant contributions included technological innovations and digital transformations in global security operations. Earlier career experience includes a role as a Technical Program Manager for Microsoft Global Security, delivering executive briefings on security advancements, as well as service as a Police Officer for the City of Redmond and in the US Army as a Company Executive Officer and Data Platoon Leader. Fairchild earned a Master's degree in Organizational Studies/Social Psychology and a Bachelor's degree in Psychology, both from Stanford University.
