Joe Provo

Joe Provo has extensive experience in network architecture, consulting, and technology management spanning over three decades. Provo co-founded NewNOG, Inc. as Vice Chair on the Board of Directors and has operated a one-man consulting firm since 1990, specializing in a wide range of technical services. Additional roles include serving as a Subject Matter Expert for the NRIC VII, an Advisory Council Member at ARIN, and multiple positions at RCN Corporation, where achievements included developing a modern backbone network and establishing engineering standards. Provo's previous positions also feature leadership in multiple organizations, including NANOG and ITA Software. Currently, Provo serves as a Network Engineer at Google and holds a position on the Municipal Technology Committee for the Town of Southborough, focusing on technology deployment for the community.
